At Jason’s Deli Salad Bar

Jason’s Deli has a gluten free guide to eating at their restaurant.  Some of my favorites are off-limits now (Crunchies, couscous and balsamic salad dressing are NOT gluten free.  I do miss them, but here is what you can get on a gluten free diet.)


  • Romaine, Field greens, Spinach

  • Carrots*, Cucumbers, Fresh Peas, Tomatoes

  • Sprouts, Onions, Red/Yellow Bell Peppers

  • Cauliflower, Broccoli

  • Boiled Eggs

  • Red pepper hummus*

  • American potato salad*

  • Feta Cheese*

  • Walnut and Cranberry Mix*

  • Dressings*:  Low Fat Mustard (Son’s Favorite, but I think I simply prefer balsamic vinegar and olive oil which are gluten free.)

* Not allowed on the initial stages of the Candida Free Diet. Use oil and RAW apple cider vinegar or lemon juice in place of salad dressings - or bring your own homemade dressing.
